This is Kristen's reasoning as well, (although I'm pretty damn sure she and Sheppard wouldn't be wasting time with coffee) and it's sound logic, but I keep running into how exceedingly screwed Atlantis would be without Rodney and then there is trouble. Because of the gene, too, I suspect that kind of logic leads to a dead Dex. Which is just horrible, though, because Ronon! He deserves to be happy!
