Marriage did, indeed, bring us together

I had an amazing time in London - it was a very quick stay but the wedding was fantastic and Alex and Lowell seemed so happy and the vows were beautiful and the company was very good and christ you can drink a lot of Pimm's without getting remotely drunk which is really dead useful. Had a great weekend and I kind of love everybody. It will likely embarrass them, but I will tell you anyway that one of my favorite recurring things of the last 24 hours is watching Alex and Lowell play and fidget with their rings, even when they're not fully aware that they're doing it. ♥ ♥ ♥ Newlyweds are always lovely, but especially so when you're very fond of them, so it's been very nice. ♥ ♥ ♥
Had post-wedding brunch this morning, said our goodbyes to pretty much everyone, saw John off on a train to Bristol, saw Seana off on a train to Bath, and Kristen and I are at Heathrow about to get on a plane to Belfast. I'm feeling very content with the time past and looking forward to the next little bit of travel.
Too many people from this weekend to namecheck before we board, but omg hi! *hugs*
