Jan. 28th, 2008 05:11 pm(1) There is a voice mail meme going around that looks really fun, except that I can't participate because I never check my voice mail. Frequent callers like ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
longtimegone will be used to my conversation opener of "hey, I saw I missed a call from you, but I haven't checked my voice mail - what's up?" And there's this whole thing about not checking your voice mail that is self-perpetuating, because then you end up with 12 voice messages to go through and it's just onerous. So. In short, I fail.
(2) I got my books today for Canada Reads, complete with spiffy tote bag! Woo-hoo yay! I knowmalnpudl's in - anybody else interested?
(3) We appear to be going to Walt Disney World this spring. I am really not a fan, but my kids really really are, and I AM a fan of making them happy, so. Give me strength.
(4) The March issue of Paste Magazine has a cover story called, "What I Miss About Michael Jackson" that the pop fans among you might enjoy. The website hasn't added the new content yet but I'm putting this here as a reminder for all of us, and because I'll forget once I stick the magazine on the shelf.
(5)malnpudl posted pictures this afternoon, and I was reminded of how much I always like photo posts, and again with the Shiny! New! Camera!, so. This is a series to demonstrate how tragic my house is.
