Mar. 7th, 2008 11:00 pmWow, way to bring it, SGA writers! I am impressed. There was PLOT, even! Total number of times I said in chat with
sundancekid and
longtimegone, "Oh, hey, I read that fic!": Three. And that was me trying not to be too repetitive. Cookies and eternal fangirling to the first person to find the SGAWriter Sockpuppet LJ.

Nashville doesn't turn out music I listen to very often, so I just discovered that a guy I went to high school with is now a country singer, and he sings a song about hanging out in the Wal-Mart parking lot on high school Friday nights; he has another song called "My Life Has Been a Country Song". I never think about my high school experience as all that small-town and it's a weird reframing - it's making me rethink my own perception of my experiences, which is weird.
This is probably more thought than is appropriate for Nashville product, isn't it?

I've been in meetings or at a conference since Wednesday morning; I'm supposed to go again tomorrow but Marc just spent the last half hour massaging the knots out of my back and shoulders and doesn't a day spent at a research conference sound like a great way to waste all that? Sleeeeeep. <3 Happy weekend!
