(no subject)

So far, Ye Olde Fliste seems about split on Iron Man - some of you loved it, some of you found it horrible. As usual, those who disliked it gave lengthy, reasonable explanations of what they found distasteful (seems a pretty even split for "stupid" and "offensive") whereas those who liked it were more of the "woo-hoo, movie!" variety. This is one of those times when I find it especially ironic and unfortunate that even fannish types seem to find disliking something more compelling than liking it.

Baking a lot; in the last week, I've baked (and eaten, nom nom nom) buttermilk biscuits, blueberry scones, chocolate chunk brownies, chocolate chip cookies, buttery little fairy cakes, lemon cake, and peanut butter cookies. Tonight I have to bake cupcakes for a shower at work tomorrow. The theme is Cinco de Mayo; anybody have a recipe for a particularly Mexicany type cupcake?
