Inauguration planning!

wordplayIt's coming up, and there's a couple of things I've been thinking about.
(1) Rick Warren. I mean, of course, he's a tool, but over at Kos there have been several posts that included calls to action; check out the Rick Warren tag to see a few. The proposals I've seen have called for either a gay kiss-in or a turning of the back during Warren's thing; this latter also proposed rainbow armbands or something similar. I have mixed feelings about this; it feels weird to turn my back during a prayer (and I'm not even a believer!) but it feels just as weird to do nothing. What do you think?
(2) Locals: who's planning on trying to actually attend something on Monday?

longtimegone, slytherincess, sundancekid and shewalksonroses will be staying with us, so there's the added benefit of getting to see them. Also, there will be food. \o/ And drinks. \o/ \o/ And maybe even red-white-blue decorationy things if I can get my act together.
