You know, our people who leave the White House go on to found global non-profits and win the Nobel Peace Prize.

Theirs go on to join corporate boards and earn lots of money.

I never, ever want to hear another Republican claim moral high ground again. I don't want to hear grief about our career politicians. Democrats KNOW public service.

Also to be noting: These two incredible men did not leave the White House by choice. The only thing about that that keeps me sane is that I think they've been able to do more good for the world (and America's place in it) outside the political sphere than they could have within it.

I'm really pleased for Al Gore that he got the prize, although suspect it may lead to yet more sniping and carping from the deniers/sceptics :-/
