The thing about Christian's win is that he just has so little interest in women, so little care for the people he's dressing, and fashion as art is fine, I just don't find it particularly interesting. And it made me more than a little irritated listening to him talk to his models, telling them to shut up about the shoes, not to eat, 'be skinny!. I can appreciate and respect what the judges see, but I really strongly dislike that approach and can't see through it. Contempt for people who are providing your livelihood is really kind of disgusting.

on 2008-03-06 05:26 pm (UTC)I loved Rami's stuff; I also really liked Jillian's, but I didn't think her collection held together as well as Rami's.
And I completely disagree with Michael Kors about colour. At least Rami *had* colour! Mr. Black Tee Shirt, jeans, and tweed jacket. Grr.
But Victoria Beckham loved Christian, and as we've seen before, the guest judges seem to carry a lot of weight on the show.
Meh. I really think it should have been Rami. Although this season they honestly could have picked *any* of the three of them...it was just down to a matter of preference.
