The thing about Christian's win is that he just has so little interest in women, so little care for the people he's dressing, and fashion as art is fine, I just don't find it particularly interesting. And it made me more than a little irritated listening to him talk to his models, telling them to shut up about the shoes, not to eat, 'be skinny!. I can appreciate and respect what the judges see, but I really strongly dislike that approach and can't see through it. Contempt for people who are providing your livelihood is really kind of disgusting.

I'm with you. No "real" woman could wear his clothes, either, unless they were 6 feet tall and a size 2. I much preferred Rami. I'd actually wear his stuff (that blue jacket on the runway, the gown with the weaving, and that strapless dress). Christian seems more interested in "Look what I can do!" and not interested at all in his audience. You said it perfectly. I mean... that "don't eat" and "I've been walking around in those shoes for a week" just turned me off. Guess what? The models *haven't*. Plus, all the black turned me off.

As "art" all three collections impressed me.

But Rami had it hands down on wearability. Those woven things were awesome.

I don't get fashion.:-) Christian's stuff seemed the most, uh, stuff you'd see on a runway? But of clothes I would wear I think I mostly leaned towards Jillian's.

I thought it was funny when his model was congratulating him and practically had to bend in two to reach his face.

Yeah, I get fashion as art, but the whole "models are hangers for the clothes" is icky. And it's just damn lazy to make clothes only a certain body type could wear.

I completely agree with all your points. I was okay with him until the weight-loss challenge. Then all amusement with him went out the window.

I knew he'd win once I saw the pictures from the front row and figured out Posh was the other judge... his stuff is perfect for her. :(

I agree completely! Besides that his looks just weren't wearable. And it was so one-note.

I loved Rami's stuff; I also really liked Jillian's, but I didn't think her collection held together as well as Rami's.

And I completely disagree with Michael Kors about colour. At least Rami *had* colour! Mr. Black Tee Shirt, jeans, and tweed jacket. Grr.

But Victoria Beckham loved Christian, and as we've seen before, the guest judges seem to carry a lot of weight on the show.

Meh. I really think it should have been Rami. Although this season they honestly could have picked *any* of the three of them...it was just down to a matter of preference.
